About the Team
Doug Aley
Doug helps steer the ship at Off & Away. When he's not acting as pure overhead, he's helping the marketing and business development teams.
Doug has over 10 years of product, marketing, and business development experience across online retail, mobile, and web applications. Prior to Off & Away, Doug was VP of Marketing and Business Development at Jott Networks (sold to NUAN '09). Prior to Jott, Doug led product management efforts in retail and digital categories at Amazon.com. He dropped out of college to start his first company (SSB BART Group) and remains on the board today. Doug got his BA from Stanford University (he went back) and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He has an amazing wife and a new son, the latter of which may hit Alaska's MVP Gold in his first year on this planet.
When talking about memorable travel experiences this is what Doug said. "My favorite travel memories are proposing to my (now) wife atop Mt. Kilimanjaro, dining with her at Al Sorriso on our honeymoon in Italy, and kayaking in the Milford Sound, New Zealand."

Patty Hagar
Patty is in charge of making sure our partners love us. Sometimes, she's too good at her job.
Patty has been partnering with travel suppliers for nearly 20 years. Prior to Off & Away, she worked for Expedia, Travelocity, Worldspan and CheapTickets helping to make their partners successful. Most recently, in her role at Expedia, Patty helped other major travel brands use the Expedia platform on their own sites to increase revenue through expanded offerings.
When asked about travel experiences Patty says "Travel is more than a vacation, a destination or even an escape. To me, travel is the frame through which the world's differences and similarities coexist while complementing and calming my constant need to better understand life."

Andrea Rogers
Andrea makes sure that the world knows about Off & Away, across all marketing mediums.
Andrea has over 14 years of combined experience in the travel & marketing industry. Prior to joining Off & Away Andrea spent more than ten years with Alaska Airlines where she pioneered the interactive marketing experience, including email, online media, search, mobile, meta search, affiliate programs, and social media. In addition, she created and led the airline's campaign strategy team responsible for the campaign lifecycle across all marketing mediums. Prior to her focus on the interactive experience Andrea also worked in, CRM, analytics, loyalty and customer service. She started her travel career 14 years ago as a travel agent in Colorado.
When asked about travel experiences Andrea says "Finland has some of the most brilliant and inviting people I have ever met. The hillsides of Ireland are breathtaking, and the beaches of Fiji, untouched; however nothing compares to a helicopter flight through the vast mountains and glaciers of Alaska, that truly speaks to my soul."

Brian makes sure Off & Away is real time, all the time. He was most recently Director of Engineering at Mpire and prior to that he was at Citrix Online.

Nick balances form and function, and makes sure we don't take ourselves too seriously. He was most recently Creative Director at Mpire and also worked with Doug and Michael at Jott Networks.
